Paint Bench: 28mm Macedonian Army

 I decided to add more advancing phalangites to my rather large Macedonian army. I bought some of the old Vendal Miniatures now owned by Thistle & Rose Miniatures here in the US. I added another 8 units of 24 advancing. I have a mix of Vendal and Aventine Macedonians they match rather well but I don’t mix units. I now have 32 units of 24 Phalangites each. I have about 10 units of 8 in cavalry from the old Vendal line.

Moving right along I am now on the Greeks. I hope I can finish all my minis in about 2 weeks.

Re-Basing Time: 2 days

Not actually re-basing, but re-painting the bases to look better. Working on my entire collection before I start gaming again...done about 1000 so far. Now I am on my Macedonians.

Paint Bench 28mm Dwarfs with crossbow from Sgt Major Miniatures (Vendel) Finished!!!

Here are some Dwarf Crossbow that I have on my paint bench that will be painted up soon. They are primed and ready. I will probably start these after the next batch of Greeks are done.

Part 2

Washed and fleshed out the Dwarf crossbow. The figures are from the old Vendel line, now Sgt Major Miniatures. I think these minis are very detailed. I have about 96 other Dwarf infantry on the shelf, so I decided to add some crossbow.

Part 3

Painting these on the side as I paint up some Greeks, I got the cross bows painted up, not much progress.

Finally putting some color on them, before I wash them a 2nd time.
