Paint Bench: 28mm Borak, Orc Champion by Hasslefree Finished!!

Paint Time: 4 days

I wanted to check out Hasslefree Miniatures Orcs, so I bought Borak, Orc Champion. Very nicely detailed figure. I had to do some cutting to base him on a 20mm base, but it was easy. But I do not think I will be buying a couple of hundred of them, even though they are very nice. I wish the shield came separate, and not have the arm attached to the shield. I am not a big fan on that. I like to be able to use whatever shield I want to.

Paint Bench: 28mm Ceril by Hasslefree Miniatures Finished

Paint Time:  5 days

Another very nicely detailed Hasslefree Miniatures, Ceril. A Elf Lord. I liked the pose, he will go well in my Gondolin game coming up soon. I am very happy with the size of this figure. He fits in nicely with the Games Workshop Warhammer High Elves.

I finished this Elf, but I am not exactly happy with the end result so don't laugh. I am not good with faces, and I think I did not clean the figure good enough before painting....rushed it.

Paint Bench: Goblins from Hasslefree Miniatures Finished!!

Paint Time: 6 days

I had asked Hasslefree to send me a sample of their goblins, so I could decide if I wanted to buy a large batch of them or not. I was afraid they were going to be too small. Well they were nice and threw in a 4 pack of Goblins because my order was a little late. Very nice. I have to say these goblins are really small. They almost could be used as 15mm orcs, or even 20mm (1/72) orcs. I would call them more like Hob-Goblins in 28mm. And I know Goblins are smaller than orcs, but I prefer Goblins to be in the 30mm range at least. But again as normal the detail is outstanding. I just wish they were 30mm or higher. I think they are about 20mm to 21mm high tops once you attach the head. Anyways, I plan on using them for my scouts and special mission troops.

Here is a figure comparison with Thunderbolt Mountain Heavy Goblins, Hasslefree Goblins and a Hasslefree Orc

Finished! I don't think these turned out so well, but they were something new to paint.

Paint Bench: 28mm Taxxis by Hasslefree Miniatures Finished!!

Paint Time: 7 days

Another very nice miniatures from Hasslefree that I just got in the mail. My first test at painting females. The nice detail should make a easy paint up. I just have to figure out how to paint her flesh nice.

Part 3

Finished! I think this is the best out of all three women I painted. I would follow her from behind any day.

Paint Bench: 28mm Dynamic Kalee by Hasslefree Miniatures Finished!!

Paint Time:  8 days

I am in love with this Hottie Kaylee from Hasslefree Miniatures, I had to have her. She will probably make the troops fall too their knees on the battlefield. I almost got the 40mm version of her that just came out. She is nicely detailed. I like those guys at Hasslefree Miniatures.

Part 3

Finished!! I happy about the armor and most of the skin work, but I like the skills on the facial features currently, but this was fun and a learning experience, but I think I will stick to Knights and Goblins, etc.
